Choosing a venue across five Mid-Atlantic markets
Load-in doors, ceiling height, and union rules vary wildly between Harrisburg and Philadelphia. A quick orientation.

A gala that loads in comfortably in Lancaster can be a logistical headache two hours east. The room looks the same in photos; the building around it is not.
What we check before we quote
- Dock access and door dimensions — a 12-foot truck bay changes the whole rig plan.
- Rigging points and ceiling height — some ballrooms simply can't fly what the design calls for.
- House labor rules — union venues need their crew hours scoped into the budget from day one.
- Power distribution — older properties often need a temporary tie-in.
We keep venue notes on every property we've worked in across Harrisburg, Lancaster, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and the DMV. Ask us before you sign a contract, not after.
